Which teams have reached the Champions League semi-finals the most times?

The Champions League is the most prestigious club competition, reaching the final is extremely difficult and is considered a great achievement. Which team has done it the most times in history?

The predecessor of the Champions League was the European Champions Cup (PMEZ). The first edition was played in the 1955/56 season. The competition was reorganised into its current form in the 1992/93 season.

Real Madrid also has the most consecutive semi-final appearances. It was among the top four in eight consecutive seasons from 2010/11 to 2017/18.

And now Los Blancos have another opportunity to stretch the streak and reach the semi-finals again after a year. But they have to knock out Chelsea, who they beat 3-1 in the first leg.
