Which players have no prospects in the national team?

The Czech national football team did not qualify for the World Cup, which will be played in Qatar at the end of this year. As usual after the end of each qualification cycle, there should be some cuts in the squad this time as well. The Czech national football team did not qualify for the World Cup, which will be played at the end of this year in Qatar. As usual after the end of each qualification cycle, there should be some cuts in the squad this time as well. Which footballers from those nominated in the last 12 months have no future in the national team?

Jan Bořil – 31 years old

He was even considered to end his career. Bořil still wants to return to the pitch, but even if he does, he won’t have any prospects for the national team because of his age.

Tomas Pekhart – 32 years old

The Polish Legia Warsaw striker is also past the zenith of his career. Moreover, Schick, Kuchta, Hložek and Vydra are better suited for the national team. Pekhart showed this in Sweden, where the whole team’s play went downhill with him on the pitch.

Filip Novak – 31 years old

He may be left-footed and can play both stopper and left-back, but he was already 31 years old, he never impressed significantly in the national team and he also doesn’t play completely stable at the club.

David Pavelka – 30 years old

He still belongs in the starting line-up at Sparta, but his position can be played by Soucek, Sadilek, Holeš or Kral in the national team. The author of the goal against Brazil and a participant in Euro 2016 lags behind in speed and dynamics.

Michael Krmencik – 29 years old

Maybe a bit of a controversial choice, but if he stays at Slavia, his continued presence in the national team is not entirely realistic. Unless he catches a second ball in another team.

Other men on the edge::

Tomáš Petrášek, Milan Havel, Tomáš Koubek, Jan Kopic, Jaromír Zmrhal, Tomáš Malínský, Martin Doležal, Stanislav Tecl

Petrasek was unsuccessful against Wales, Havel was unlucky in the Sweden game, Koubek has only been a number two at the club for two years. Kopic plays irregularly for the club, Zmrhal has not convinced the national team either.

In addition, Jankto is coming in to replace him. The younger Pešek can play in place of Malínský. Martin Doležal also no longer meets the high demands of a European-style striker, Tecl is also working at the club.
