Where will the Czech head to? The contract ending my involvement at Chelsea does not allow me to work in a football environment for a certain period of time, he said

However, he quit the club and is now taking a break from football, which is a bit forced anyway. This is apparently due to the fact that he will continue to receive a salary from the club.
At the end of May 2019, he played his last career game when Arsenal fell to Chelsea. It was there that he returned again after his career ended.
He became an advisor to the sporting and technical department, but that is the end of that. There have been big changes at Chelsea and Cech is one of them, so he is leaving the club by agreement.
Where will his next steps lead? That’s what a lot of people are asking, but Cech himself has admitted that he will now take a break from football. And it’s a bit forced, too.
“At the moment there is really nothing pressing. After all, the contract ending my engagement at Chelsea does not allow me to work in a football environment for a certain period of time, so in this context a break is a given,” Čech said in a Sport Invest press release.
The implication, therefore, is that at least a partial salary will still land in his account from Chelsea, just as it does for some coaches who do not coach for perhaps a year after a forced end at the club.
“At the moment I am looking forward to the opportunity to pursue more hobbies, family and maybe even travel. On the other hand, I know myself and it’s only a matter of time before I start to miss the work challenges. I will take my time and see what opportunities open up for me,” he added.
