There are a lot of options, sites and sources to watch live sports online nowadays and it is not easy to find all of them. That’s why today we’re going to introduce you to safe and secure ways to watch your favourite sports. So where can you find the most of them together, fully legal and even free?

Right from the start, let me make it clear that we’re only talking about legal streaming. There are plenty of strange and dubious sites where you can find your desired stream, but even if you’ve already chewed through dozens of ads, you never know what harmful stuff might get into your device.

Text streams

Of course, online streaming doesn’t just have to be in the form of a video stream, where you ideally see video and audio, but also in the form of text-based online streaming. You’ll find the latter to the greatest extent in the Czech Republic on good old Onlays.

If we mention some esports, for example, for Counter Strike:: Global Offensive the biggest information centre is the hltv website, where you can find a huge overview of results and statistics, but also online broadcasts.

Broadcast rights

The rights to broadcast the most watched leagues and competitions are a huge business, involving countless millions of crowns. And it’s not a cheap affair for the end customer either, as you know best.

If you’re a big fan of multiple sports and want to see everything, it’s not cheap. In fact, the broadcasting rights are often exclusive and the prerogative of a particular company.

In addition, the providers of e.g. Premier League football or Formula 1 often change. So many people will buy a TV service from a company with the expectation that they will have access to, for example, the aforementioned Premier League, but the provider may only have the rights until the end of the season, after which the host channel may change.

What now? Already get another service on top of the existing one costing around £400 per month? Or just replace it? But by doing that you will lose something else again. One thing is for sure. No provider offers everything. All of the most watched competitions, of course.

Just if you want to watch the Czech top league and the Premier League, mentioned several times, you can’t do without two different providers, i.e. without two different payments and we are already usually on a bill in the hundreds of crowns.

Simple terms, right? The options aren’t unlimited here either, but you’ll be offered streams of hockey, football, tennis, MMA, darts, esports, baseball and much more.

You can watch the world’s top competitions such as the NHL, Ice Hockey Extraliga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, La Liga, Serie A, MLB, NFL, tennis grand slams and the Alpine Skiing World Cup.

And that’s handy. If you’re on holiday or sitting on a fishing trip and don’t have a TV, you can find all this in your pocket and watch your favourites even away from home.
