When will we see a rematch between Procházka and Teixeira? White answered a reporter’s question rather evasively
Jiri Prochazka has already agreed to a rematch with Glover Teixeira, and now it’s up to the UFC brass to decide when to grant them the fight. Dana White was answering questions from reporters who asked him about this very topic, among others. What did he answer them?

When Jiri Prochazka defeated Glover Teixeira, the talk of a rematch started immediately. The Czech champion wants to give it to him and both fighters have already agreed.
However, we are still waiting not only for the official confirmation of the fight, but especially for the date. Procházka would like to fight in Las Vegas in December.
That’s also why he had to turn down a January tournament in Brazil, where Teixeira would have been at home. Reporters asked UFC president Dana White about the fight and got a not-so-direct answer.
“Obviously, it’s a fight that we want, that both fighters want and I’m sure the fans want, so we’ll get it done and get it done,” he said at the UFC press conference.
He then added that they haven’t finalized a date yet, so we’ll probably have to wait a few weeks for a more definitive answer. They almost certainly wouldn’t fight in Brazil, though.
After all, the terms should be set by the champion. Very likely it will all happen in December, other dates are not very much out of the question.
