When I got hurt, I screamed like a madman at the whole gym, Procházka admits. And what next? Take the title and reign supreme!

The biggest star of our MMA scene is working on his return to action. Former UFC champion Jiri Prochazka wants to get his belt back as soon as possible, which he lost due to injury. But now, in an interview for his YouTube channel, he has gone back to how he actually approached his shoulder injury.
“I screamed like a madman at the whole gym. I looked around and I saw my shoulder shifted on my chest, dropped to the side. So I asked if anybody knew how to throw it because it was pretty uncomfortable,” Procházka let slip.
But he didn’t want to call off the fight with Glover Teixeira. He first had X-rays, but then trained as much as he could for the next week. He tried to rehabilitate his shoulder every day, but the situation did not improve and he had to have an MRI.
“There they told me that I definitely can’t start the game. But it was a difficult decision. I don’t like to let situations like that happen. I believe that you always have a chance. Maybe I should have gone into the fight, but now the devil take the hindmost,” revealed the increasingly popular fighter.
The injury occurred due to inattention in training. However, Walk is a man who believes that everything happens for a reason. So why the injury? He says the fight with Teixeira was not his personal wish, but just came out of the situation.
Procházka prefers fights where he knows he will show his maximum potential. He wants to be in the cage with a man he feels is a threat, a challenge. Teixeira doesn’t seem to be fulfilling that now. In fact, the Moravian fighter claims that he should have told the Brazilian to call it quits after losing to him in order to leave with dignity.
After all, with Jamahal Hill, Teixeira was given an undignified existence. However, he eventually ended his career and there is new blood at the top of the division. And there may be more to come. Alex Pereira, middleweight champion and Teixeira’s protégé.
“Pereira is an interesting name. And Hill? I’m glad there’s going to be excitement. That weight class of ours can’t have a different champion every year. I’d like to damn the changes, take the title, reign and keep it. Properly,” Procházka concluded.
