On Wednesday, the football world was shocked by the news of the end of Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel on the bench. According to the first information, the German coach parted ways with the team due to poor results. But now new facts are coming to light. One of them includes the famous Cristiano Ronaldo, whom the 49-year-old coach had to reject several times.

A poor start to the season was topped off by a defeat in the opening Champions League match against Dinamo Zagreb. For the former PSG or Borussia Dortmund coach, it was his 99th game on the bench of the London team. And it looks like his last.

The new owner Todd Boehly didn’t get on too well with Tuchel. That’s why Pierre-Ememerick Aubameyang moved to Stamford Bridge instead of the famous Portuguese sniper.

The ex-Chelsea coach had a clear view on this. “He (Ronaldo) would destroy the team spirit in the cabin,” appeared on the Twitter account of renowned journalist Christian Falk.

Ronaldo himself would probably have no problem with a move to London. He has said that he doesn’t want to settle for just the Europa League, and now it looks like he’ll have to accept a substitute role as well. Erik Ten Hag is punishing his reluctance to train with the team significantly to start the summer.

Chelsea themselves got rid of two strikers before the season, Tim Werner and Romelu Lukaku, who although not having a great season, brought the team a couple of goals. Armando Broja was supposed to be the replacement, but Tuchel didn’t trust him.

And that created another problem. Some players felt left out at Chelsea and felt no confidence in the coach. We may not know Thomas Tuchel’s successor yet, but players and owners are hoping that the 2020/21 Champions League winners will return to the top again.
