Slavia enters the match against Ferencváros with a two-goal deficit from the first match. In addition, Jindřich Trpišovský has to deal with several absences. In which line-up will the Susians chase promotion?
At the press conference the day before the game, Jindřich Trpišovský said that there is a question mark over the three players who started in Ferencváros. Two were in the starting line-up, one came on as a substitute. He also revealed that one player will not start 100%, the other two will be seen after consultation with the medical team.
Apparently, the one 100% absentee should be Petr Ševčík. He limped out of the first half at Groupama Arena, his condition didn’t look good at all.
But the other players are not sure. Srdjan Plavsic was substituted at half-time, but we don’t know if it was for tactical or health reasons. Jan Kuchta was also substituted just after the change of sides, and it was not at all clear whether he would start.
Jindřich Trpišovský said that there will be changes, whether forced or unforced. However, it is almost certain that they will not be defensive. It should be Kolář – Masopust – Kačaraba – Zima – Dorley.
There is one opening for Petr Ševčík in the central formation. He was replaced by Ibrahim Traoré in Hungary, but it is possible that the team will want to send a more offensive player in the home game and will deploy Ondrej Lingr. The other two positions will be filled by Tomas Holes and Nicolae Stanciu.
There are many question marks in the offensive part of the lineup. On the right side, Alexander Bah will probably start again, rotating with Lukas Masopust. On the left side, Plavsic might be replaced by Olayinka, who should be in better shape by now. Unless he is one of the injured.
Kuchta played at the top of the attack last time, but he was not fully fit. An option is to bring in Ivan Schranz, who has been playing in good form in the season opener.
Probable line-up of Slavia::
Kolar
Masopust – Kacharaba – Zima – Dorley
Traoré – Holeš
Stanciu
Bah – Schranz – Olayinka
