What conditions did Ngannou set for himself? He wanted to help the whole community, but White made him look like a pussy to the world

Much has been written about Francis Ngannou’s contract non-renewal with the UFC. However, until now, there has only been speculation about the reasons that led the experienced fighter to make this move. The French-Cameroonian fighter has now explained everything in detail.
He hasn’t fought in a year, now he has decided to quit the UFC for good. Francis Ngannou did not renew his contract in the organization, by the way, this has been speculated for a long time.
He was bothered by the way the organization treats its fighters. And it’s definitely not just about money, but also about health insurance and other things that the UFC doesn’t want to deal with.
Dana White was pretty pissed off after the non-renewal and he spit on Ngannou as much as he could. After all, it wouldn’t be White acting like a man for once.
“We’ve done everything we can to work things out with him, but he thinks there are bigger chances and opportunities waiting outside the UFC with easier opponents. However, he chose not to fight the best fighter of all time and instead fight easier fighters,” he said at the press conference.
Ngannou then responded by saying that he doesn’t care what White tells the public. He has now outlined to fans and the entire combat sports world why the negotiations did not work out.
“If I signed the contract, I just wouldn’t be free. We may talk about being independent contractors, but in reality, only the organization has all the power and options. Sure, I asked for a lot of things, but I was counting on only a few to go through.
For example, I wanted us to be able to have our own sponsors in the fights again, which is something the UFC robbed us of. I also asked for long-term health insurance. I suggested that a lawyer should be part of the negotiations to protect the interests of fighters and fighters in general.
I asked for all this, but I got nothing,” Ngannou said in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
He then added that he would be willing to go against management if they would only arrange three fights, with Jones, Miotich and then possibly Jones again. Of course, that didn’t work out either, so Jones will face Gano in a title fight.
