What chance does the Czech Republic have of winning the Euro? A supercomputer has calculated the probabilities of the possible winners

The European Championship is around the corner and the statisticians are doing their job! The Stats Perform analyst supercomputer has been busy calculating which teams have the best chance of winning the coveted tournament. Our national team is one of the biggest underdogs!

What are our chances according to the percentage? The chances of the Czech Republic winning are only two tenths of a percent! But beware that England, which will have one of the best squads, has a percentage chance of winning the gold of only 5.2%.

In the role of the biggest favourite, the computer could not choose anyone else but France. The latter has a chance of winning as high as 20.5%. The second biggest favourite in the whole tournament is our rival from the World Cup qualifying group, Belgium, with 15.7%.

On the other hand, the two biggest outsiders of the whole tournament are North Macedonia, who have a chance of just two hundredths of a percent. The second biggest outsider is Slovakia, which has a chance of winning the tournament with only four hundredths of a percent.
