In the summer, Barcelona was very active in the transfer market. It had a big problem defensively, so it brought Andreas Christensian, Marc Alonso or Jules Koundé to Camp Nou. The arrival of Hector Bellerín was also interesting, but he didn’t make much of an impact in the squad.
However, there were also big changes in the Catalan attack, with Franck Kessie, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski joining the club. The latter two in particular, along with Ousmane Dembele, form a very dangerous attacking trio.
The results came after a while. Xavi has put the team together brilliantly and the result is currently first place in La Liga with a lead of eight points and the return of the game face of Barcelona. The local fans can be satisfied with the team’s performance after a long time.
The club’s management has not been idle and has set three main objectives for the next transfer window. Who could come to the club?
Yannick Carrasco
Barcelona tried unsuccessfully to bring Carrasco on loan, so they would like to exercise the exit clause on the twenty-nine-year-old striker in the summer. With Xavi expected to fit Carrasco into the system, the Spanish coach himself has requested his arrival.
Sofyan Amrabat
Sofyan Amrabat is still 26 years old and he showed his full potential at the World Cup in Qatar. Thus, Barcelona immediately became interested in the player, even Amrabat was inclined to a potential transfer. However, all the efforts of the Barcelona management failed on the rejection from Fiorentina. The Catalan club’s management will thus pursue the player in the summer.
Vitor Roque
Vitor Roque is a 17-year-old talent who is the focus of interest of several European big clubs. Chelsea, PSG and Barcelona are all interested in signing him. Roque is expected to be a top striker and Barcelona’s replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
