What a shame! Miroslav Broz completely tore his left biceps and has to take a break from wrestling
Miroslav Brož moved from the Octagon to the RFA, where he has an alternate start with KSW. He made his debut in the Polish organization with a draw and now he was supposed to have another fight, but it won’t happen. The reason is an injury.
Miroslav Brož moved from the Octagon to the RFA, where he has an alternate start with KSW. He made his debut in the Polish organization with a draw and now he was supposed to have another fight, but it won’t happen. The reason is an injury.
In May, he showed up in the first RFA tournament. He hasn’t wrestled since then, although he had another match scheduled. Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing that anytime soon. Miroslav Broz is injured.
“Hi everyone, I wanted to inform you that I have to cancel my most important match that I was supposed to have right now. I’m really upset, but it can’t be helped. Yesterday after sparring, I got even more worked up, went on to spar and tore my left biceps completely off.
So now I’ve torn both left and right. Now with Dr. Kebrle we are deciding whether to have surgery or let it grow back. Of course the doctor said he would operate, but then I would be out for six months and that is not an option.
So I’m gonna let it grow and I’d like to make the game in December. I’d let it rest for a month, and then I could start training. At least now I’d be boxing with my right hand. Lord willing, I might make the fight in December at RFA, so we’ll see,” he told his fans via Instagram.
So he’s definitely facing a longer layoff because of this injury. But as is the way with fighters, the effort to return soon will definitely be missed and it’s possible we could see him fight at the end of the year.
RFA will have their last tournament of 2022 on December 17 and would like to have their first title fight there. So let’s be surprised if by any chance Broz won’t be a part of that.
