West Ham are looking at Manchester City on loan! He also wants to keep key players

West Ham United is the home of three Czech national team players, but also of billionaire Daniel Křetínský. The club has been performing above and beyond recently and wants to keep up with the top of the Premier League, but to do so will require some light additions to the squad and retention of existing stars.

And that’s all the club’s management has planned! West Ham are looking to extend the contract of burly striker Michail Antonio until 2024! That will make Antonio 34 years old, but why not sign him?

If the Jamaican international can keep himself in good sporting shape and no injuries come, he will still be a very paid player. At the same time, over time, he can transform into a mentor for the younger forwards.

The club also wants to keep Jarrod Bowen at all costs. Liverpool are reportedly interested in the skilful offensive all-rounder, so the Hammers want to reach for an upgrade and contract extension. Bowen has been in terrific form this year and has been vocal about his national team nomination for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Czech legionnaires may also see some new reinforcements this winter. There has been loud talk for some time about the return of Jesse Lingard from Manchester United. But in the meantime, Ole Gunnar Solskjær has ended up on the Red Devils bench and German manager Ralf Rangnick has taken the helm.

So it is questionable what plans the new coach has for Lingard, but Lingard has already hinted several times that he wants to return to the London Stadium.

The latest news from the Hammers camp is the alleged interest in the Manchester City player. It is about Nathan Aké, who doesn’t play much at the Citizens. The 26-year-old stopper would certainly be a good fit for David Moyes, as he is pushing his boot in that position.

West Ham’s Angelo Ogbonna was injured for a long period of time and Kurt Zouma was also injured in the match against Chelsea. But Ake is also reportedly interested in Newcastle with wealthy owners, so the transfer battle won’t be easy at all.
