Group A
Napoli continued their run, beating Rangers 3: 0, as did Liverpool Ajax. The first place will be played for in a week at Anfield, Napoli only need to lose by less than four goals. Ajax will take on Rangers at home for the Europa League, but the Scottish runners-up would have to win by at least five goals.
Group B
In the B group, the advancing teams are also clear. Porto won 4:0 at home to group leader Bruges. Atletico had to win in the evening match to stay in the game, but failed to convert a penalty kick in the 2-2 draw.
Bruges and Porto will thus fight for the top spot from a distance, the Belgian champion has one point more before the match at Bayer. The athletes fly to Porto, they need to get at least one more point than Leverkusen against Bruges to advance.
Group C
In Group C, everything is already decided before the last round. Bayern secured the first place with a 3:0 win over Barcelona, Inter secured the second place with a 4:0 triumph over Plzeň. Barcelona will play in the Europa League, Pilsen is out of the cups.
Group D
All teams are still in the group. Marseille, the last team standing, can still qualify. Tottenham drew 1-1 at home against Sporting, Frankfurt beat Marseille 2-1 at home thanks to two goals in the first half hour.
Tottenham lead the table, one point ahead of Sporting and Frankfurt. Two points behind Spurs are Marseille, who welcome Antonio Conte’s charges at home next week. Frankfurt will play Marseille for promotion, the Portuguese are at home and a draw is enough.
