Most of the World Championship barrages are over, so we currently have 27 qualified teams for the World Championship in Qatar.
Qualified teams::
Qatar, Germany, Denmark, Brazil, France, Belgium, Croatia, Spain, Serbia, England, Switzerland, Netherlands, Argentina, Iran, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Canada, Ghana, Senegal, Portugal, Poland, Tunisia, Morocco, Cameroon.
There is one place left from Europe, which will be contested by three teams. Ukraine and Scotland will face off in the semi-finals of the barrage, with the winner challenging Wales in the final. Due to the war in Ukraine, these matches have been postponed
In North America, one qualifying group match remains to be played, very likely leaving the USA and Mexico in the top two places. Costa Rica, fourth, can also advance directly, but for that they would have to beat the USA in the last round.
If it goes to the barrage, it will play the winner of the Oceania qualifying group, with Solomon Islands and New Zealand in the final.
Peru finished fifth in the South American qualification and will face the winner of the UAE-Australia duel in the World Cup barrier.
Remaining barrages::
Ukraine/Scotland – Wales – ? Probably June
UAE/Australia – Peru – 13 or 14 June
USA/Mexico/Costa Rica – Solomon Islands/New Zealand – 13 or 14 June
