Tottenham travel to Watford on Saturday. While Spurs are rising up the table, Watford need to cut the losing streak that has kept them just above the relegation zone.
Watford are not doing well at all, losing their last five league games and are only 17th in the table. They are only two points clear of the relegation places and need at least a draw on Saturday.
Tottenham are showing signs of improvement under their new coach. They are seven games without a league loss and have moved up to seventh in the table. They are only one point behind fifth-placed West Ham with two games in hand.
Emmanuel Dennis is among the most productive players in the competition, the Nigerian striker has already scored eight goals and assisted five times. Senegalese winger Ismaila Sarr has scored five times so far.
Harry Kane is slowly getting into form, yet his 4+1 record is appalling by Harry’s standards. It’s Heung Min Son who is holding his own, scoring eight goals and assisting three times. Lucas Moura has also gone up extremely well.
Watford have been struggling defensively for a long time, getting thirty-five league goals already. Only Leeds and penultimate Newcastle are worse off in this respect, with Norwich last.
Tottenham have gone up under the new coach, winning three of their last five league games and scoring at least two goals in four of their last five games.
Given the excellent form of the Lucas, Son pairing and the dysfunctional home defence, I think the visitors will win.
