The Africa Cup of Nations is not much watched domestically, but even so, small snippets of the highlights are reaching the public.
Something happened on Friday that is sure to interest many Czech fans as well, with Benjamin Tetteh, the former Prague Sparta and Bohemians striker, in the lead role.
He came on the pitch in the second minute of the 1:1 tie after Gabon had tied the match. Two minutes later, however, a melee broke out.
It was Tetteh who came out swinging with his fists and hit his opponent in the face. He was logically sent off for that and it is likely that the tournament is over for him.
Ghana will have to do without him, but they have to work hard if they want to play more than one game. After two games, they are third with just one point.
The Comoros can be expected to beat them, however, if leaders Morocco fail to beat Gabon, even three points will no longer be enough to advance directly.
However, there is still the possibility of advancing from third place and the chances of this advancement would be great in the event of a win. The Comoros must therefore be beaten.
