Votíková is doing great in PSG! She contributed a clean sheet to the Real Madrid debacle on Tuesday

Czech goalkeeper Barbora Votíková is making a very good name for herself at PSG. She has not yet earned the position of the clear number one, but her statistics are really brilliant. On Tuesday, she helped Real Madrid to a crushing defeat.

In Tuesday’s Champions League match, the PSG women’s team hosted Real Madrid at home. The French team was the favourite, and they proved it with a big 4:0 win.

For PSG, this is the third win in three matches in the group stage and they hold the maximum number of points with a great score of 11::0.

The victory was also witnessed by Czech goalkeeper Barbora Votíková right between the three goalposts. Why was she watching? Because she didn’t have to make a single save during the whole game. The whole team contributed to her clean sheet.

But Votíková has an excellent record. It was her fifth competitive match for a big French club, and she didn’t score in any of them.

Together with the national team matches, the former Slavie number one has not scored in seven competitive matches in a row, which is of course an excellent record.

The twenty-five-year-old PSG player is making a great name for herself in France and it seems that she has a good chance to become the number one among the three poles despite the great competition. This is evidenced by the fact that she has played five out of a possible six games since her debut.
