Vladimír Coufal has done it and hopefully he is far from finished! He celebrated his first milestone in a West Ham jersey. He has already played fifty games for the Hammers, who would have expected that a few years ago? It’s a sensation! Vladimír Coufal has done it and hopefully he is far from finished! He celebrated his first milestone in a West Ham jersey. He has already played fifty games for the Hammers, who would have expected that a few years ago? It’s a sensation! Let’s hope that the national back will soon regain his position in the starting line-up and collect many more starts.

The first milestone has been reached and now what? In the Premier League, youngster Ben Johnson has made the starting eleven and was given the opportunity when Vladimir Coufal was out with a groin problem.

the 29-year-old Czech international now starts in the Hammers starting line-up mostly in the Europa League, but he would certainly like to play in the most prestigious league competition in the world. In West Ham’s last game against Manchester City, Coufal started on the substitutes’ bench and peeked into the game for the last half an hour.

His absence from the starting eleven may have had an unfortunate effect on the performance of Tomáš Souček, who has let it be known on several occasions that he has benefited enormously from the interplay with his long-time partner. They both know each other very well and know how to help each other on the pitch.

Some West Ham fans are even calling for the return of Vladimir Coufal to the starting line-up! And it has to be said that Ben Johnson is a big favourite of Hammers fans.

The discussion was sparked by a tweet from West Ham congratulating Coufal on his 50th birthday. “He has to play (against Brighton) on Wednesday,” wrote one discussant.

“We need him back in the starting eleven. Johnson has been fantastic but we need experience,” tweeted another West Ham fan. His tweet also received the most positive reactions.

“If he is fit he should play every game,” added another.
