Vízek: I told Gerrard after Šmicer that he was a loser. Kamara’s lawyer is a psychopath
Rangers FC has aroused hatred like few other football clubs in the Czech Republic over the last six months. First the March disputes with Slavia, now it’s Sparta’s turn. And Ladislav Vízek, like the vast majority of Czech football fans, is disgusted with the whole situation.
Rangers FC has aroused hatred like few other football clubs in the Czech Republic over the last six months. First the March disputes with Slavia, now it’s Sparta’s turn. And Ladislav Vízek, like the vast majority of Czech football fans, is disgusted with the whole situation.
What happened in March between Slavia and Rangers does not need to be mentioned twice. When the Scottish club returned to Prague after six months, there was another hullabaloo, even though they came to play their rivals from Sparta and, moreover, the fans were not allowed in the stadium.
Ten thousand children turned up for the game after the ban, booing the unpopular Glen Kamara every time he touched the ball. According to the British society, this is racism for which Sparta should be banned. Coach Steven Gerrard, who for the second time has masked his defeats as racism and lost much sympathy, spoke in the same vein.
“I consider it a misunderstanding. It’s really ridiculous, embarrassing, and for Gerrard to stoop to that, he’s lost so much respect from all of us. I called him a loser after Šmić,” Ladislav Vízek said on the Tiki-taka programme. “It seems he didn’t tell him, ” he added with a smile.
Vízek said Gerrard just doesn’t know how to lose. He also remembered the Liverpool captain when he was still playing, and even then, he said, it was clear that he couldn’t take defeat and kicked everyone on the pitch in anger.
Kamara’s lawyer Ameer Anwar also earned a lot of ridicule in the Czech Republic. He briefly called Czech children racists, called Prague a corrupt place where racism should be fought and suggested Sparta should be banned from European cups.
“And the lawyer who is doing the talking is a semi-psychopath. I think he’s a full-time psychopath, that semi-doesn’t belong there anymore,” Vízek said of Anwar.
