VIDEO: Zouma got hit again by the fans for abusing a cat! Liverpool fans gave him a funny chant after clashing with goalkeeper
Some things are simply not forgotten. Especially the bad ones. And West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma knows that. Liverpool fans reminded him of how he abused his cat in a moment that was not very pleasant for him.
Some things are simply not forgotten. Especially the bad ones. And West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma knows that. Liverpool fans reminded him of how he abused his cat in a moment that was not very pleasant for him.
Kurt Zouma has become a key player in coach David Moyes’ squad since joining West Ham. However, in February came a shock. His brother posted a video of the burly stopper kicking his cat.
The video went around the world and the police dealt with it. And the Frenchman was not spared punishment. He was sentenced to 180 hours of community service, banned from keeping cats for five years, lost his contract with Adidas and fined £250,000 by the club.
This punishment may have seemed insufficient to some. But if anything can give Zouma a good shake, it’s the reaction of the stands. And there have been many of them.
The whole incident was then recalled to the French defender by Liverpool fans on Wednesday night. It was at Anfield that West Ham played with Zouma in the line-up.
Liverpool won the match 1: 0, the goal was scored by Darwin Núñez. However, the Reds would have deserved a second goal just because of what the fans in the stands came up with.
When Zouma went down after being hit in the head by goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, a chant began to echo from the legendary stands of The Kop, the translation of which is simple: “This is how your cat feels.”
