VIDEO: Tense situation in Italy. Go home, the referee told Mourinho after the red card. He is considering legal action

José Mourinho did not have an ideal Tuesday night, during which he had to watch another defeat for his club against one of the worst clubs in the Italian league. Moreover, he was shown a red card in a match that was accompanied by huge passions.
Cremonese beat AS Roma 2-1 in the 24th round of the Italian top flight. It was the first win for the defending champions in the current Serie A season.
With this defeat, the club from the Italian capital made the fight for the Champions League more difficult. At the moment, the Portuguese coach’s charges have dropped to fifth in the table, one point behind fourth-placed Lazio Roma.
José Mourinho’s red card
The Portuguese coach was shown a red card shortly after the start of the second half, but it was accompanied by strong emotions and the fourth official seems to have played a big role in the incident.
Mourinho was still outraged after the game and will even consider legal action. In his statement, he said that he is a very emotional person, but he is not crazy. For him to react in such a way, something had to happen first to provoke him.
He also said that he would first try to get an audio recording so that he could have direct proof of the Italian arbitrator’s inappropriate behaviour.
“For the first time in my career, the fourth referee spoke to me in the most unbelievable way. It is unforgivable. I went to them after the game. Thehead referee told me to apologise to Serra (the fourth match official),” Mourinho said.
“I told Serra to gather his courage and explain what really happened, but he has memory problems,” the Portuguese strategist continued.
Italian media have come forward with information on what actually happened between the two involved. Mourinho demanded an explanation of the situation on the pitch from the fourth official. However, he had no intention of talking to him.
So the referee blew the coach off in a rude manner, adding vulgar words and telling Mourinho to mind his own business. But that was not the end of it.
“You’re making everybody [bleep] mad. Go home, go home,” Serra should have said after the head referee rushed to issue a red card.
It means a two-match suspension for the Portuguese and a fine of 10,000 euros. It is the third red card of the season for Mourinho.
