VIDEO: Sabitzer flashed a great shot in the Austria jersey. Will he be a standard kicker at Manchester United?

Marcel Sabitzer moved from Bayern Munich to Manchester United on loan in the winter. However, even at Old Trafford, he hasn’t managed to fully establish himself in the starting line-up. Will the current national team break change that? He has shown his qualities in the Austrian jersey again.
It was the summer of 2021. Marcel Sabitzer, as Leipzig captain, was leaving for Bayern Munich with coach Julian Nagelsmann. It was expected that he would continue his excellent performances in Bavaria and be part of the starting line-up.
However, this was not the case. Even under the coach under whom he shone in an RB jersey, Sabitzer couldn’t shine at Bayern nearly as much as he did in Saxony. Moreover, he often had to perform tasks that he was not so used to from the previous years of his career.
In his second season, that didn’t change much. Rather, his situation worsened and a change had to be made. In the past, there was a lot of interest in the Austrian and he had no shortage of takers even in the winter. He chose to go on loan to Manchester United.
At Old Trafford he has so far appeared in nine competitive matches, five times in the starting line-up and scored one goal. Even in England, he is not yet getting the space he deserves. But he’s not having an easy time of it. He came into the team at a time when he was starting to thrive.
But if there’s one thing that could make Sabitzer even better, it’s his excellent kicking technique. He has a great shot from distance and playing standard situations is also one of his strengths.
He showed that on Friday during the national break in the Austria jersey. Austria won 4-1 against Azerbaijan and the Austrian captain Sabitzer played a big part in that.
The Manchester United player scored two goals and assisted one. His second goal in particular was really worth it, though, as he converted a standard penalty uncompromisingly.
The Red Devils fans are therefore calling for him to play direct kicks in the jersey of the English team as well. Will he dig a place in the line-up?
