VIDEO: Navas saved all Leeds shots right from the start and confirmed his great reputation. With him, Nottingham will be much stronger!
Keylor Navas is an excellent goalkeeper with great achievements in the best European clubs. However, he is often sidelined, which is why he has now found himself at Nottingham Forest, for whom he has been a godsend. With the Costa Rican goalkeeper, the English team will be very strong!

The winner of three editions of the Champions League has only played two games in a PSG jersey this season, when he was given the opportunity in the Coupe de France. However, he has only watched the other matches from the bench or the stands, having dealt with minor problems several times during the season.
So the 36-year-old experienced goalkeeper certainly welcomed the move to Nottingham and flashed his ability at the very first opportunity. In doing so, he got a taste of the rigours of the Premier League himself and from his own! However, the clash with Willy Boly went well and the former Real Madrid and PSG goalkeeper finished the game safely.
Against Leeds United he shone several times. In the video below, you can see how he saved a chance involving Wilfried Gnonto, for example.
Also thanks to Navas, who didn’t let any of his opponents’ shots go behind him, Nottingham won 1: 0 thanks to Brennan Johnson’s precise shot from the 14th minute.
Thanks to this, Forest are now further away from the relegation zone, as they have a 6 point lead on 18th placed Everton, who also won, the same number of points as their Sunday opponent, who are dangerously close to the relegation places.
Nottingham Forest, after dropping out of the EFL Cup semi-finals, will only have the Premier League to look forward to and in the next rounds they will face teams that they may well struggle to stay in the top English competition. After Fulham and Manchester City, Navas and co. will visit London to face West Ham and then welcome Everton.
However, coach Steven Cooper’s team is in very good form, apart from two defeats to the Red Devils, his charges have won 3 of their last 4 games and drawn one.
Moreover, with Navas in goal, they are likely to be even stronger and so we can expect more good results, which is what the duel with Leeds United showed.
However, the midfielders will have to step up as well, as they rather retreated into defence after the goal and especially in the second half they didn’t have much of a game.
