Muhammad Ali would again have reason for great pride. One of the best boxers in history has two grandsons who are involved in combat sports. The older of the two, Biaggio Ali Walsh, has already shined with his fourth straight first round stoppage.
While the younger of Muhammad Ali’s pair of grandsons, Nico Ali Walsh, is building his legacy in boxing at age 22, holding an 8-1 record with five wins by KO, the two years older Biaggio Ali Walsh is shining in MMA.
The PFL, the overseas organization where Viktor Peshta used to fight and now Martina Jindrova is fighting in her second year, is making the most of the potential that the story of the legendary boxer’s grandson has to offer.
Biaggio currently has a 4-1 record in MMA. He has three fights in the PFL so far. He signed with the organization last year and immediately shined with two first round knockouts. This followed up his last fight before he entered the PFL.
He reigned supreme again at the last gala under the banner and scored another first round stoppage. This time the speed and hardness of his hands was felt by Travell Miller, who didn’t stand a chance.
Ali Walsh unleashed a series of punches, Miller cashed in and went down in 1:21.
It’s worth noting that Ali’s longest game in the PFL lasted only a minute and 42 seconds. The longest he waited to win was two minutes and 50 seconds.
Only in his only loss to date has a match not ended in the first round. In his first bout, he was defeated in the second round on a rear-naked choke submission by Devin Rothwell.
