José Mourinho didn’t disappoint again, this time he couldn’t be on the pitch with his players during the match against Inter Milan due to the ban. Instead, he watched the game from the team bus parked at the San Siro. He then duly enjoyed his team’s victory and shared it with the world via stories on Instagram.

The match didn’t go well for AS Roma when winger Federico Dimarco was able to get through in the 30th minute to put Inter ahead.

However, the joy of the Milan team didn’t last long, when just 9 minutes later Paulo Dybala, who is enjoying a very good start to the season under Mourinho, managed to beat goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.

The Argentine striker has already notched 5 goals and 2 assists this season. But along with him, Lorenzo Pellegrini, who has 3 assists, is also doing well.

The Italian midfielder scored the third one just during the 75th minute when Chris Smalling pushed his way through, which Mourinho celebrated with a few people in the car park.

With this win, AS is now in the current 5th place with 16 points, just 4 points behind leaders Napoli. But Serie A is really even this season and can be counted on to be thrilling until the very end.

Mourinho has already been praised this week by club legend Daniel De Rossi, who likes to see the Portuguese coach’s connection with the fans.

“If you don’t realise what Mourinho has already done, the stadium is still packed with 60,000 fans, whether they are doing well or not, whether they are playing against the first or last team in the table. For what he has brought to Rome, he must be appreciated more than for the results,” De Rossi said in an interview with Football-italia.

In addition, the Roman side will now face two “easier” league games against Lecce and last-place Sampdoria, after which they will welcome home league leaders Napoli.

Inter, however, have no such reason to be happy, having won only the last 8 matches against penultimate Cremonese, Torino and Viktoria Plzen. Now they have a double-header with Barcelona.
