AC Milan is having another successful season. Although there hasn’t been much strengthening after winning the title, it hasn’t been too noticeable. The performances may not always be entirely attractive, but the results are certainly not the worst.
The Rossoneri are in third place in Serie A after twelve rounds, and although it is not a position that inspires satisfaction, nothing is lost. However, the first half of the table is very even.
In particular, the top eight are tight on points. Moreover, it can be expected that even the first Naples will still lose.
But more importantly, compared to last season, Stefano Pioli’s charges have managed to qualify for the spring part of the Champions League this season. They managed to do so for the first time since the 2013/14 season, which is of course a big event.
But it was not easy. Chelsea, Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb are not weak opponents. In fact, it was only in the last game that promotion was won, when AC Milan battled it out with third-placed Salzburg.
The match ended surprisingly unambiguously. A packed San Siro watched a dominant performance and a 4:0 win. To make matters worse, a “miracle” occurred at the legendary stadium.
At least that’s how the video is presented, with the Italian fans celebrating the goal. One of the fans in a wheelchair stood up to celebrate the goal and the footage is all over the internet.
