After two minutes and twelve seconds, Switzerland’s Timo Meier scored the decisive goal. The Devils celebrated their second win in a row in front of their fans, but they are currently in tenth place in the Eastern Conference with 38 points.
However, the table is so balanced that they are only four points behind third-placed Florida. Hughes scored for the first time since December 9, when he contributed an assist in a 4-2 win over Calgary.
