Indonesia’s top competition has already completed four rounds. For the first time in a competitive match Michael Krmencik finally made it through. Just like in his debut in a friendly, his teammate Ondrej Kudel scored a goal of his own.
Finally. Michael Krmencik scored for the first time in a competitive match for Persija Jakarta. He scored already in a friendly match, but after that he did not impress in two league matches. He missed the third one and has now returned to the line-up.
Jakarta played against Persikabo 1973. In the 42nd minute Krmencik sent his team into the lead 1:0. It is worth mentioning that while Persija has not started the season well and is only tenth after four rounds, Persikabo is in second position.
Interestingly, just like when he came through in the friendly, Krmencik celebrated like Cristiano Ronaldo. He had already amused the Czech fans in particular when he introduced himself to the Indonesian fans by comparing himself to Fernando Torres.
Ondřej Kúdela also made his first appearance in his new jersey, just as he did in the preliminary match. And just like then, he scored his own goal.
He knocked the opponent’s shot, which was heading out of the goal, into the net, which was defended by his goalkeeper. Kúdela thus deprived his team of three points. Persikabo did not score another goal. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
