VIDEO: How could Fabinho not get a red card? Mitoma knocks Liverpool out of the FA Cup with a stunning strike
Liverpool’s post-season? This statement is downright suggestive. It’s not the same in the league, the Carabao Cup didn’t work out and now the FA Cup elimination has come as well. Only a Champions League miracle can come. But after another loss to Brighton, only a minimum of Reds supporters will believe in it.

Brighton have been phenomenal this season. For the second time in a short space of time, Liverpool have felt the pinch, but they are having their worst season in years.
In mid-January, the South of England side blasted Jürgen Klopp’s charges to a high 3-0 in the Premier League, now Brighton beat Liverpool 2-1 in the FA Cup and it could have been worse.
First of all, Liverpool must be glad that they finished with full strength. Two players could have seen the red card. First of all, Ibrahim Konate, who already with a yellow card attacked as the last Liverpool player Alexis Mac Allister.
In the second row, a downright butchery tackle was made by Fabinho who, with no chance to play the ball, cut down only 18-year-old striker Evan Ferguson.
But there were also some nice moments of football to be seen in the match. The most beautiful one is due to a Brighton player, namely 25-year-old Japanese winger Kuora Mitoma, when he scored the winning goal in the 92nd minute after he beautifully fooled the Liverpool defenders.
It is worth noting that Mitoma is now playing in great form. He has scored 4 goals in his last six games and also added an assist. Overall this season he has scored 5 goals and has 2 assists.
Brighton brought the Japanese footballer in the summer of 2021 for just 3 million euros, now his value is almost triple and given the form of the team from the south coast of England, it is not impossible that it will grow even more.
