VIDEO: He just came for a paycheck? Bizarre behaviour before and during the fight, he got a kick to the head and a hard knockout in 10 seconds. The footage of the PFL battle went viral

The PFL has another big tournament under its belt. Quite possibly the best in its history. An organization that often tries too hard to catch up with the UFC delivered a great show in France. But there were some bizarre moments. One in particular quickly went viral.

Currently arguably the second-best MMA organization on the planet, the organization that teamed up with Bellator had another interesting gala. While there isn’t much interest in the PFL, there is no shortage of quality. Nor is there any shortage of money.

It’s a very prestigious affair for the fighters. Plus, it’s regularly fought every year in an interesting million dollar format. No wonder everyone wants to try their luck and go for the money. But besides that, the organization offers various “superfights” or other specialties.

There’s been a lot of fuss lately, especially in France. Signed several French fighters and tournaments in Paris? That can be a lot of craziness and phenomenal fun through the atmosphere. It’s not hard to get swept up and swept away.

But one fighter seems to have said the complete opposite. He left a very bizarre impression at the PFL Europe 1: 2024 Regular Season gala. He looked like he didn’t even want to be in the fight. And he wasn’t for a long time.

Bizarre in the PFL, video goes viral

Mickaël Groguhe showed up at the gala to duel with Islem Masraf. The heavyweight clash promised to be an attractive spectacle. Moreover, two fighters representing France jumped against each other, an interesting thing for fans.

But before the fight started, Groguhe gave a very strange impression. Not only did he look like he didn’t want to be in the cage. It was almost as if he didn’t know exactly where he was. Many fans have been discussing under the footage of the match whether he had consumed alcohol or other substances that may have affected him beforehand.

However, the match was short-lived. After 10 seconds, Masraf sent a hard kick to the head and it was over. A great knockout, one would think. But instead, the question is what actually happened. According to some, Groguhe was just here for a payday. But so blatantly?

It’s not clear what happened. What is certain, however, is that Groguhe scored his second straight defeat. And if no one knew him before, he’s found new fans.
