VIDEO: Haaland on 20 league goals, Citizens back in second place. Leeds beat them 3-1

Manchester City managed to finish the 17th round of the Premier League, winning 3-1 at Leeds United. Citizens were struggling to score until the first half, then two goals by Erling Haaland and one by Rodri.

Erling Haaland scored the first goal in the 40th second, but his lob was cleared by Ilian Meslier. The home side slept through the opening minutes, with Kevin de Bruyne shooting just wide of the right post in the sixth minute.

After that, the pressure eased a little, with Ilkay Gundogan trying his luck from distance in the 20th minute but missing the target. Ten minutes later, Haaland burned a second scoring chance, again outpaced by Meslier’s excellent save.
