Video: Glen Kamara’s beautiful goal puts Rangers closer to the Europa League final

Few would have given them much chance of success in the Europa League before the season. But Rangers are now close to the final, with Glen Kamara scoring a hilarious goal from the edge of the box at home to bring them closer to their dream trophy.

Rangers FC nearly secured a valuable draw in Leipzig, but they cashed in late on when Angelino scored, making the goal clear in the rematch.

The Scottish team, who also faced Sparta Prague in the group stage, needed to win at home.

The first half went as expected. The second team in the Scottish top flight scored two goals and came close to reaching the final.

The first came in the 19th minute from experienced defender James Tavernier, but the second goal was really worth it.

In the 24th minute, Glen Kamara, who is very well known to the Czech public, sent in a left-footed shot from outside the box.

At the end of the first half the scoreboard at Ibrox Stadium read 2:0. The Scots were not far from the dream final and the scalp of another star German team.
