Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 2-1 in the league El Clásico and virtually secured the title with a 12-point lead. However, after the game there was also a lot of talk about what midfielder Gavi did again.

Gavi is still only 18 years old, so he still has a lot to learn. But more in his head than on the pitch. He is a great talent and to play for Barcelona and the Spanish national team from such a young age is something to be admired.

However, his behaviour is often lacking. Gavi is very over-motivated in all games, he wants to show the fans how much he cares about Barcelona. And so he often resorts to aggression and sneaky tackles.

But in Spain, Gavi is protected, almost every game he tries to get a yellow card, but either he doesn’t get it or only at the third attempt.

Against Real Madrid, he did something that doesn’t belong in football at all. Just before the end of the game, with the score still 1-1 in the 89th minute, Dani Ceballos played a cross and the visitors went on the attack.

When the Spanish midfielder wanted to complement Benzema and Vinícius, Gavi did not allow him to do so. When he saw him behind him, he waited for him, ran up to him and absolutely without the ball, knocked him to the ground.

He didn’t even see a yellow card for his incomprehensible and unnecessary aggression, VAR didn’t even investigate the situation. We have seen several straight red cards for assault without the ball.

Barcelona scored a few minutes later, but the goal was disallowed due to a close offside. After that, Real played a game of wank and it was the home team who decided the final 2-1 and practically the title.
