Slovácko is playing the opening match of the group stage of the European Conference League, the first opponent was Serbian Partizan, who knocked out Prague Sparta in the spring. And at the beginning of the match there was euphoria in Slovácko, the team from Uherské Hradiště was leading 2:0 and was playing against ten.

Slovácko caught a really tough group in the European Conference League, consisting of Partizan, Nice and Cologne. The first match was hosted at home, with Partizan Belgrade coming to Uherské Hradiště.

On paper, this is the easiest opponent, so the fans thought that if they could ever win, it would be now. And the start of the match was accordingly.

In the fifth minute, the home fans could rejoice, as Jan Kalabiska scored from the edge of the box, and he shone fifteen minutes later.

In the 20th minute he finished a shot by Stanislav Hofmann, who hit only the bar, but then found the ball and had no problem directing it into the net. Euphoria reigned and a few minutes later it was even better.

At least in terms of chances to win, Petr Reinberk definitely couldn’t rejoice. Kristijan Belic, out of frustration, hit the Slovácko midfielder badly and deservedly received a red card.

Slovácko didn’t let up and had more chances, but couldn’t solve them better and won the first half 2: 0.
