VIDEO: Dreamy entrance! Kaoru Mitoma scores after 16 seconds on the pitch and contributes two goals to another Brighton win
Although the entry into the Europa League did not go as expected, Brighton’s team is running like clockwork in the Premier League. On Sunday, coach De Zerbi’s team scored another valuable victory, which was a huge credit to substitute Kaoru Mitoma.

Brighton continue their footballing fairytale
Brighton’s football fairytale continues in the new season. Last season, the team led by coach Robert De Zerbi stole the sixth place from the favourites in this year’s Europa League and the club continues to perform well this season.
When the Italian manager De Zerbi took over from Graham Potter last season, few probably expected how well this synergy would work. In one season, a football midget has become a team that is stealing from the biggest clubs in England.
The club then had to deal with the departures of star Moisés Caicedo during the summer, who along with Roberto Sánchez was bought out by Chelsea of London. Alexis Mac Allister headed to Anfield.
But so far, it looks like the club is not doing anything about the departures of star players. This is due to the smart money invested in the sore spots of the squad by coach De Zerbi and his excellent work with a relatively young squad.
So it is no wonder that the club continues to perform brilliantly, winning four out of five league games. Despite the team’s failed entry into the European Cup, when Brighton lost at home to Athens AEK, the Seagulls’ return to the league marathon worked out splendidly.
Another league win was masterminded by Japan’s Kaoru Mitoma
In yesterday’s game against Bournemouth at the AMEX Stadium, Brighton struggled especially during the first act, but after the change of sides it was a different story. Then substitute Kaoru Mitoma played a huge role in the team’s further victory at half-time.
He scored his team’s winning goal after just 16 seconds of being on the pitch, when Brighton players took advantage of a mistake in the visitors’ midfield. Mitoma first started the action and then made no mistake in the face of goalkeeper Verbruggen.
But that wasn’t all from the Japanese international. In the 77th minute, he ran onto a beautiful centre from Ecuadorian midfielder Estupinan and headed home the final 3-1 to the hosts. Brighton continue their fine run and are now third in the Premier League table after six rounds.
Mitoma has continued his excellent performance from the start of the league season, in which he has accumulated a respectable record of three goals and the same number of assists in six games so far. Together with youngster Evan Ferguson and veteran Danny Welbeck, they form a formidable offensive gig that commands the respect of the league’s defences.
