The UFC organization offered another Fight Night tournament in Florida on Saturday night. The gala offered a lot of attractive fights, however, the fight of the first Ugandan in the UFC David Onama caused a huge response. In his fifth fight in the UFC, he stunned Dana White with a brutal KO and a champion-style celebration of Israel Adesanya.

According to fans, it was supposed to be a boring card, but the UFC came out with another insane tournament. The biggest MMA organization in the world held another Fight Night gala in Jacksonville, USA.

All eyes were on the main event of the night, which featured Spain’s “Matador” Ilia Topuria, who has long been calling for a UFC featherweight title shot. He wanted to get it through the top five of Josh Emmet’s division.

But the card offered many interesting duels, with the young generation of fighters standing out. The featherweight division featured Dana White hopefuls in Gabriel Santos and David Onama.

Brazil’s Santos (10-1) came into the UFC with ten straight wins and only recorded his first loss in his first fight in the organization. However, it should be added that he took the fight on short notice just three months ago.

His opponent, David Onama (10-2), was the first fighter hailing from Uganda to make it to the most famous MMA organization in the world. The 29-year-old fighter is considered an attractive fighter who has managed to end all his wins before the limit.

The fight itself then hung KO from the first seconds. The fight showcased modern MMA at a frenetic pace and showed the top-notch skills of both fighters in the stand-up and on the ground.

Santos seemed to be far more accurate and aggressive in the stand-up, but when the fight got to the ground, Onama was able to take the wind out of his opponent’s sails with surgical calmness.

If the first round lifted the crowd out of their seats, not a single person could sit through the second. Santos threatened again in the stand-up, but Onama got him under again and you could see in the footage that the Brazilian was breathing very deeply.

Then when the fight got back to the feet, Onama caught Santos with a brutal uppercut that sent the Brazilian down. Onama then, following the example of middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, sent a pair of imaginary arrows into the lifeless body.

The fight and the finish itself will surely be adepts for some sort of bonus from President Dana White. Onama, like his opponent, showed that he definitely has a future in the organization and MMA fans should remember his name.
