Remember the nickname Frankenstein? If you do, you will remember how the Brazilian fighter who calls himself that was properly trained by Karlos Vémola three years ago. However, now the Brazilian has reminded himself with an awesome knockout in the Polish KSW.
It was 2019, and Karlos Vémola had signed with the Octagon, and it was clear that he was going to confirm his reputation as the best Czechoslovak fighter of the time. He was aiming for a fight with Attila Vegh and to get there he won two fights in the Octagon.
In the first one he defeated Pawel Brandys, in the second one he gave a good lesson to a certain Brazilian. In the same year Henrique Da Silva also appeared in the biggest Czechoslovakian organization. After uncompromisingly finishing Jan Gottvald, he asked for a fight with Terminator.
It was a beautiful promotion. Terminator vs. Frankenstein. Two UFC veterans. The Brazilian was confident. He just got a big blowout in the fight. Vemola didn’t even want to end it. The fight looked like he was just trying to teach him a lesson. And so it was three rounds of bullying.
After that, the Brazilian never showed his face in the Octagon again. But he wasn’t done with MMA. A two-year hiatus followed, but now he’s back. Last year he managed two fights, this year he even managed three.
And he had his third on Friday at KSW 75. He took the cage against former champion Tomasz Narkun. He lost the first round when Narkun, like Vemola, troubled him on the ground.
But he didn’t let that happen in the second. In fact, he pulled out with a great front kick and secured a sensational knockout. He didn’t even want to add another punch, it was obvious the fight was over. But the referee hesitated and Frankenstein added one more punch.
the 33-year-old Brazilian is calling for a title shot. Narkun was the number one welterweight in KSW.
