VIDEO: Action movie-like exhibition KO at the UFC tournament! A great spinning kick brought a hard end to the Brazilian brawl
In addition to the Octagon, the UFC gala was also held in Las Vegas on Saturday at a European-friendly time. In addition, Lucie Pudilova was featured on the prelims card. Among the highlights of the evening, however, was a different fighter. The popular Amanda Ribas shined in the Brazilian cut.

After UFC 295 last week, another, this time unnumbered, gala took place in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
But the best in terms of quality was yet to come. Those who didn’t watch the gala after her duel may regret it. There were some interesting matches and also some interesting finishes.
Probably the most successful one was rather surprisingly taken care of by the popular Amanda Ribas, who clashed with her compatriot Luana Pinheiro in a Brazilian cut on the main card of the UFC tournament.
Both fighters were in the top 10 of the strawweight division before measuring their strength against each other. Ribas was the slight favourite and confirmed her role, although she didn’t have an easy time of it.
Ribas delivered an exhibition finish at the UFC gala
Amanda Ribas and Luana Pinheiro definitely provided one of the most attractive women’s duels of the year at least. They confirmed that women’s MMA is not boring. Their fight was tough and extremely interesting.
While Pinheiro had the more entertaining first round, it was from the second round on that Ribas started her ride. She landed several punches and delivered an exhibition finish with almost a minute left in the third round.
First she landed a fantastic spinning kick, after which the formality of finishing her opponent was enough. It’s worth noting that the last KO/TKO Ribas scored was in 2016. It’s the first time she’s ever won in the UFC in this fashion.
Ribas is currently 7-3 in the UFC. After falling short to Maycee Barber in her last fight, she’s back on a winning streak. At 30 years old, she definitely has a few good years ahead of her.
Pinheiro lost for the first time in the UFC, overall it was only the second defeat of her career. So far, she’s held a streak of nine straight wins.
