VIDEO: Absolute madness! PSV fan attacks Sevilla goalkeeper on the pitch, but Dmitrovic tackles him
A rather unusual ending to the match was seen by the fans at the PSV stadium. After an initial 0:3 defeat in Seville, the Dutch side won 2:0 at home and narrowly avoided going into extra time. However, a home fan attacked goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic on the pitch.

Sevilla are the kings of the Europa League. It has won the second most prestigious competition six times, no other team has so many titles.
And although they are not doing well in La Liga this season, instead of fighting for the title, they are drowning in relegation fights. In the Europa League, however, it is still doing well. In the first leg of the 1/16 final, it beat Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán 3-0 at home to secure a good position for the rematch.
However, the Spaniards got a bit of a setback from their former player Luuk De Jong. He scored twice, with one goal still disallowed. But PSV couldn’t add a third goal and didn’t take the game into extra time. But what happened on the pitch is absolutely disgraceful.
A PSV fan ran onto the pitch and attacked Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic from behind. However, he absolutely miscalculated this, because attacking the goalkeeper is stupid in itself, but attacking this Serbian strongman is doubly stupid.
Dmitrovic actually pacified him and knocked him down. Security subsequently escorted the troublemaker from the stadium. I’m sure he won’t be seeing much more football.
Dmitrovic is number two behind Bono in Seville. If he was ever going to be in goal, it should be right now during a fan attack, because the Serbian strongman is known for not going far for a scrum.
As a result, Sevilla have advanced to the Europa League eighth round and are heading for a record seventh title in the competition.
