Venezia vs. AC Milan: Preview and betting tips
AC Milan will visit the unpredictable Venice this weekend. Both teams have a great motivation to win, the home team would escape the relegation zone in case of triumph, while the visitors would put the first Inter under pressure.
AC Milan will visit the unpredictable Venice this weekend. Both teams have a great motivation to win, the home team would escape the relegation zone in case of triumph, while the visitors would put the first Inter under pressure.
Venice, as a newcomer to Serie A, are not doing badly at all. They are 16th in the table and have a four-point lead on the relegation zone with a game to spare. On the other hand, they have been waiting for a win for six rounds.
Even the visitors are satisfied. Although they dropped out of the Champions League very quickly, they are only a point behind first-placed Inter (who have a game in hand). Moreover, the Rossoneri have won their last two games.
In the home jersey, David Okereke is firing it up, the Nigerian striker with national team experience boasts a league record of 4+1. Midfielder Mattia Aramu has scored five times and added three assists.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still firing at the age of 40, scoring seven goals and assisting two in the league. Five more goals have been scored by midfield mainstay Franck Kessié, who is still waiting for a new contract.
Venice are struggling in attack, scoring only eighteen goals, with only last-placed Salernitana (11 goals scored) being worse.
AC can rely on their attack. They have scored forty-three times already this season, only the first Inter (49 goals scored) is better.
Looking at AC’s good form and Venice’s dysfunctional attack, I think the visitors will win.
