Karlos Vémola offered his opinion on who he would wish to win the title fight at September’s Oktagon 35. Patrik Kincl and Alex Lohoré will face off for the middleweight belt.
Karlos Vémola and Patrik Kincl don’t exactly like each other very much. Since their 2018 fight together in the XFN organization, there has been bad blood between the two fighters and both have been exchanging harsh remarks about the other.
Recently, Patrik was vocal about the qualities of Aleksandar “The Joker” Ilic, with whom Vémola is going for the welterweight title in Prague’s Štvanica. Vémola replied that he didn’t have to drop weight and could face him alone.
Karlos Vémola has now revealed who he will be rooting for in the welterweight title fight at September’s Oktagon 35, which will take place at the Winning Group Arena in Brno. The Czech Terminator’s answer may surprise you.
“I could care less about the final, but I’m such a patriot,” Vémola offered his opinion in an interview with Sport.cz. “I always root for the Czechs, even if I like or dislike them,” he explained.
“I want Czech MMA to go up, to show that we can do it at the world level, ” expressed his wish. “If the belt stays with Kinclo, I would be happy, I will take it from him in December,” he predicted.
“I’ve beaten both of these guys in the past, so it doesn’t matter who I face,” he added about this fight. We’ll see how the two irreconcilable rivals fare in their next matches. Maybe at the end of the year we will really see their next comparison.
