Vemola? I think it’s dumb that he’s giving himself ultimatums! He lost the belt himself, says Pirate Krištofič
Samuel “The Pirate” Krištofič is preparing for his title defence, his opponent is Karlos Vémola, who lost his belt due to not weighing in before the fight with Milan Ďatelinka. But the Terminator is causing problems and unless he comes in second, he refuses to wrestle.
Samuel “The Pirate” Krištofič is preparing for his title defence, his opponent is Karlos Vémola, who lost his belt for not weighing in before the fight with Milan Ďatelinka. But the Terminator is causing problems and unless he comes in second, he refuses to wrestle. What did the Pirate say?
A fight between Samuel Kristofich and Karlos Vemola has been announced to take place at Oktagon 28 later this year.
But nothing is as certain as it may seem. Vémola wants to go into the octagon second, but the champion, who is the Pirate, has the exclusive right to do so.
But Vémola doesn’t like that and gives ultimatums. If the organization doesn’t give in, he won’t fight the Pirate, according to his own words. What does the Slovak himself say?
“I find it dull that he gives himself ultimatums, he himself lost his belt, he should be happy that he got a chance to get his belt back. He said it’s going to be easy, he’s going to stop me in two minutes and he’ll have the belt. Then he can rejoice saying I’m an easy fight and I’ll be equipped in the first round. That’s just his pressures,” he said on his livestream on YouTube.
Even the organization itself realizes it has to have a backdoor. That’s also why they are discussing possible replacements to go for the title.
“Ragozin, Kincl, I have no problem with that. If the pride of mankind was really serious about it, but I don’t believe that even one percent that Vémola wouldn’t step in. I’m not going to shy away from any opponent. Whoever they give me, I’ll defend. Both are fighters of a good level,” Kristofich added.
