It looks like the Valencia circuit is about to lose another big star. Valentino Rossi, who is still infected with coronavirus, will apparently not start the next European Grand Prix in Valencia.
Valentino Rossi, who has been found to be infected with coronavirus, is unlikely to enter the European Grand Prix in Valencia.
This was confirmed by tests on Tuesday and although Rossi has no symptoms, his start in Valencia is in jeopardy due to the illness.
“I’m sorry because I feel good and I can’t wait to get back on my bike and rejoin my team,” said Valentino Rossi of his situation.
Rossi has already missed two races and looks set to add another in Valencia. Two negative tests in a row are a prerequisite for the Grand Prix.
“I really hope the next test will be negative because two missed races is too much,” Rossi said.
