The Czech national number one has a new employer, Tomas Vaclik has signed for Olympiakos Greece and is now in Greece where he will soon be announced as the club’s new signing.
Greek journalist Oguz Oruc even photographed him in the club’s shroud, so everything seems to be agreed and there is nothing preventing the arrival of the Czech goalkeeper.
Vaclik was also supposed to have an offer from Naples in Italy, but he should be the clear number one at Olympiakos, as José Sá left the team to join Wolves.
Vaclik is expected to sign a two-year contract with an option for another year, earning around €1.2 million a year.
With Olympiakos he will fight for the Champions League, on 21 and 28 July he will face an unknown opponent.
However, he can be expected to play in at least one of the European competitions, as there is now a third one, the European Conference League.
