Ukraine vs. England: preview and betting tips

On Saturday, England will face Ukraine for the second time in Group C, which they beat 2-0. Now coach Gareth Southgate’s side can take a big step towards qualification for Euro 2024.

England are once again going through the rather tough Group C like a knife through butter and after 4 matches they have a full point haul, and with a score of 15: 1, with their only goal scored in the opening game by Italy.

A win over Ukraine would virtually guarantee England, whose participation in the European Championship is now virtually beyond doubt, the top spot.

It is certainly great news for English fans that a number of players arrived at the national team meeting in great form. This applies especially to Jude Bellingham, who is shining at Real Madrid, Harry Kane and James Maddison.

In the case of Ukraine, the opposite can be said. However, they have managed their two games against outsiders and now they have a second clash against England and then Italy. They will have to score points in these three matches if they want to qualify for the European Championship.

However, the previous showdown with the English did not go well at all as coach Southgate’s selection absolutely steamrolled them and did not even allow them a shot on target.

Moreover, the Albion players are in a great playing condition and this is also true for the players that are most likely to run out on the pitch during the match. Thus, we can expect the same as in the two previous matches mentioned above, i.e. the dominance of the English in every way.
