UFC trying to humiliate a former champion? Ngannou reacts to Jones vs. Fury matchmaking

Francis Ngannou a thorn in the UFC’s side? In fact, it seems so, and the former champion of the organization himself sees it that way. During the PFL tournament, where he will now be based, he commented on the UFC’s efforts to arrange a Jon Jones vs. Tyson Fury duel.
Unfortunately, one of the scariest men on the planet is no longer fighting in the UFC. Francis Ngannou had several reasons for leaving. He was trying to secure good financial terms not only for himself, but also for other fighters.
But besides that, he made no secret of the fact that he would like to fight a boxing match. He challenged one of the biggest stars of boxing and world champion Tyson Fury, but the UFC didn’t like it at all. The complications in the contract negotiations were multiple.
In the end, it all culminated in Ngannou not signing a new contract in the UFC and instead signing with the PFL, where he will find a place in the organization’s management outside of wrestling.
At the PFL’s most recent event, which took place Friday night into Saturday and featured Czech fighter Martina Jindrova, current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones appeared alongside Ngannou.
It was Jones that Ngannou was scheduled to face in his next title defense. However, that didn’t happen. Jones subsequently defeated Ciryl Gagne and now there is talk that he should be the one to challenge the aforementioned Fury.
Fury even revealed that the UFC has already made him a concrete offer for a fight with modified rules. The future is said to be bright.
Of course, this must downright piss off Ngannou, but he’s clear about the whole situation. “When I was in the UFC, that was never even remotely conceivable. Now that I’m not in the UFC anymore, I think they’re all about humiliating me. But they’re not going to break me,” the former UFC champion expressed, according to MMA Fighting .
