Francis Ngannou is currently still the UFC heavyweight champion. His next opponent will be Ciryl Gane. However, it seems that the Cameroonian native’s days in MMA are coming to an end, as he is not satisfied with the money and wants to fight.

Life has not been easy for Francis Ngannou. He had to fight hard and honestly for everything he has. But he’s still not satisfied and it looks like he wants to take the next step for the better.

That all is not well between him and the boss of the UFC? The fact that there was a fight for the interim champion, which was Ciryl Gane, is already a sign of that. Ngannou thinks it was a clear effort to discredit him.

Dana White in general seems to be unhappy with the way the heavyweight champion is expressing himself. In fact, he often points out how poorly fighters are paid in the UFC. He even sides with the unpopular Jake Paul in this regard.

So Ngannou has a clear goal. To get out of his contract, he hasn’t signed a new one yet. He wants more money. He’s motivated by how much star boxers like Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder make.

Fury was guaranteed €6 million before the fight, then he and Wilder split the €18 million they earned through PPV sales.

“I believe I could beat both of them. Tyson promised me afterwards that he would give me a chance when he gets over Wilder, so I hope he keeps his promise,” the UFC champion let slip.

Fury has already gotten over Wilder, knocking him out in the 11th round. The popular “Gypsy King” then actually promised Ngannou a chance.

Ngannou is also a big boxing fan, he wanted to make boxing a priority, but in France he was redirected to MMA. By switching from the cage to the ropes, he would fulfill a boyhood dream.

If he really commits to this move, Ngannou could move into the boxing world as early as next year.
