UFC Fight Night 190: Gane vs. Volkov – Preview and betting tips

Coming up this weekend, UFC Fight Night 190 will feature a main event between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov. What to expect from the fight and what to bet on?

The main event of UFC Fight Night 190 will feature heavyweights Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov, the number three and five heavyweights in the UFC organization.

The odds alone suggest that we’ll see an evenly matched fight. Quite possibly the entire fight will be staged.

Volkov has said he wants to see who is the better stand-up fighter. The question is whether Gane will go for it.

Gane will be the favorite, but the fight experience is clearly on Volkov’s side. Gane is 8-0, Volkov is 33-8. And that could be a big factor.

Volkov’s a bit of a stillwater, but he’s a real scrapper in his matches. He currently has two wins by TKO in the second round.

One can expect him to cause a surprise, go for the win and thus improve his ranking position and get closer to a potential title fight.
