U.S: Open Golf: Schedule and information

The U.S. Open starts today, June 17! The third major of the season, held in California, will be contested by 156 golfers. The winner will take home a very impressive $2,250,000.

One of the biggest tournaments in golf is here. And the U.S. Open is one of the toughest tournaments ever.

The tournament is open to all golfers with a handicap of less than 1.4. Players can also be invited by virtue of their ranking.

This time we will see 156 of them. The same was the case at the D+D Real Masters Czech golf tournament.

Players will split a whopping $12.5 million during the tournament, which translates to just under CZK 267 million.

What does the winner get besides money? He will be invited to all major tournaments for 5 years, and even 10 years for the U.S. Open.
